MARBELLA BEACH GAMES
Welcome to Southern Spain best fitness event held on the beach on the 19th & 20th of September at Playa el Pinillo, Marbella
MBG is a two day competition for both individual athletes & pairs. This is the third year Train Marbella is hosting this event 2018 it went under the name Andalucian Beach Games, 2019 & 2020 we are in Marbella right on the beach. This competition requries a online qualification that will be from 12 June – 1 July where individuals and teams will perform 3 qualifier workous and submit them online with video requirement.
TIME TABLE 2020
Qualifiers: 12 June-1 July
There will be 3 workouts, released one by one and performed individually so you do not need to do the qualification with your partner if you are registered as a team, this lets athletes from around the world and different cities to be able to team up together. You will have 5 days to complete each workout.

STANDARDS CATEGORIES FOR 2020
This category is for athletes who seek performance as a long term goal and who have already taken part in competitions. You have been practicing the sport regularly feel proficient in most workouts. You are proficient with weightlifting and gymnastic movements (muscle ups, handstand pushups). You want to measure yourself against the best future European athletes.
In the RX category, athletes should be able to do all movements and you normally do workouts RX in your box when training
This category is for the majority of the people in your box. You can do most of your box workouts as RX but have to scale from time to time.
In the intermediate category, you should be proficient with both weightlifting and gymnastics and you are almost able to do muscle up.
If yo have to scale the workouts when training in your box, THIS is the category for you. Note that this category is not a Beginner category.
For this category, qualifying workouts will be scaled and you DO NOT need to know : muscle-ups, handstand walk, pistols
The master category is depending on the age & the required age must be valid during the year of the competition. Masters should be able to know all movements in the sport.
One standard – Intermediate high
At least one member in the team should be able to do all movements but it is not required that it is the same person who knows all movements. Both athletes should proficient in weightlifting and gymnastics like chest to bar.
